What We Believe
We believe in the verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures. This means that the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation, and God's plan and purpose in all ages for all men (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21)
We believe in the one triune God, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20; Matthew 3:15-17; 2 Cor. 13:14).
We believe in the deity, humanity, virgin birth, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ (John 1:1; Heb. 4:15; Luke 1:35; I Cor. 15:3-6).
We believe that salvation is by grace plus nothing and minus nothing. The condition of this salvation is faith and the basis of this salvation is the blood of Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 3:28; Heb. 10:19-20).
We believe that man is justified by faith alone and accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:1; 2 Cor. 5:21).
We believe in the second coming of Christ. This coming will include both the pre-tribulational rapture of the church and a pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ with His church (I Thes. 4:13-18; Matt. 25:31-46).
We believe in the resurrection of all the dead. Therefore, the saved will enjoy the eternal, conscious blessedness of Heaven and the lost will be eternally and consciously separated from God in Hell (Dan. 12:2; John 5:28-29; Rev. 20:11-15)
